Here is another breakfast idea for you!!

Breakfast (not in the mood for food but I gotta eat!):

4 egg whites, using cooking spray, sautéed with
45 grams fresh spinach
2 slices low sodium turkey bacon
1 slice of low sodium Ezekiel bread
1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter if you prefer)
140 grams sliced strawberries
½ cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
½ scoop vanilla protein powder
Total macro nutrients for this meal (approx.):
Protein: 50 grams, Carbohydrates: 39 grams, Fat: 12.5 grams
Again if the protein is a concern, the omit the Greek yogurt and protein power, that will shave off about 26 grams of protein and decrease the carbs by about only six grams.
**You will also see that I began weighing some of my food in grams…as I do this I am finding more accuracy with my intake as opposed to using a measuring cup all of the time (most scales have the gram option on them). Most, if not all, food packing has the serving sizes also written in grams (in parentheses) so try it and see how it works for you. So far this works for me (just try not to get it confused with the grams as far as the calorie content).
